Well after a bit of digging around I did indeed find that some MB manufactures do supply a little seperate installer for ASIO that doesn't get installed along with the main Windows Audio drivers, and what I also found is that where this seperate install is included it always contains the same dll driver.

Hello everyone this is my very first Post after reading most of the instruction on setting up VBcable I have set my cable as explained in the help guide step by step the free version but suddenly a few weeks later no sound through my Free VB-Cable, I decided to do a clean install removing anything that might be in my registry a fresh install but decided to donate and go with VB Cable A /B I try to setup as the free version settings but no sound coming out of either Cables A/B can someone explain to me how to fix this? could this be a cause from a MS update below are my system specs I have two AV installed I have disable both of them and re-enable them but still no sound coming out from them accept my regular windows driver ->
